Andrew Herman Comments on Trump Campaign Finance Violations Implications in Newsweek

"Trump Campaign Knew Consultant Was Behind Joe Biden Parody Site. Does That Make It a Campaign Finance Violation?"

Andrew Herman commented on potential campaign finance violations and growing public concerns about the "coordination" issues among the members of Trump's re-election campaign. When asked if Patrick Mauldin's dual status as a campaign worker and off-duty web guru could trigger coordination issues, Herman said, "If that were the only fact, that the campaign had knowledge, I don't think that would be sufficient to establish coordination according to the way it has been defined in the past by FEC [Federal Election Commission] election rules."
