William P. Barry will be speaking at C5's 12th annual Anti-Corruption London Conference on June 28, 2018. Barry will present, as part of a panel, "How to Scope and Execute Your Response Strategy When the Lead is Taken by U.S., U.K. or Other Prosecutors." Panelists will discuss their experience with multi-agency investigations, as well as:
 

• Issues related to the applicability of different standards of corporate liability
• Relevance of the availability of different tools of resolution
• Significance of position of individuals in terms of evidence building and continuing cooperation obligations
• Weight of and approach to issues of double jeopardy and the place of any enforcement deference
• What is the extent and scope of actual negotiation with the various agencies
• To what extent sentencing principles differ and how this should feed into the case strategy
• Cooperation and assistance from local colleagues
