ABA 2016 Midwinter Meeting of the Employee Benefits Committee

Theresa Gee and Erin M. Sweeney* will present during the American Bar Association's 2016 Midwinter Meeting of the Section of Labor and Employment Law's Employee Benefits Committee on February 11-12, 2016. Gee will present, as part of a panel, "Fiduciary Update." The panel will address how the potential liability landscape has changed for ERISA plan fiduciaries based upon recent case developments, how the lower courts are applying Dudenhoeffer to employer stock claims, both new and old, and whether pension risk transfer is worth the risk. Sweeney will present, as part of a panel, "The Anatomy of a Contract," which will provide an analysis of three typical contracts entered into by ERISA Plans for alternative investments, pharmacy benefit managers and third party administrators and the provisions you need to look out for.
