Jacqueline L. Ferrand

Jacqueline Ferrand focuses on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and export controls, advising U.S. and international companies on compliance and internal investigations. Her compliance experience includes developing policies and procedures and associated training addressing corruption and export controls risks for clients in a variety of industries. She also assisted in M&C’s development of an anti-corruption compliance program metric for use in evaluating whether programs meet “best practices.” Ms. Ferrand has also participated in acquisition FCPA due diligence and compliance audits, and assists Kathryn Cameron Atkinson in Ms. Atkinson’s capacity as a government-appointed Independent Compliance Monitor in an FCPA matter settled with the DOJ and SEC. With respect to investigations experience, she has been involved in several FCPA investigations and export controls investigations, the latter leading to voluntary disclosures involving the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) administered by the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC).
