Miller & Chevalier is at the forefront of defending False Claims Act cases asserted by the government and by qui tam plaintiffs, i.e., "whistleblowers" suing on behalf of themselves and the government. Our lawyers have achieved dismissal or a successful settlement in more than 30 significant cases just in the past few years. Our lawyers are also experienced in representing clients in all types of criminal matters, from the beginning of an internal investigation through grand jury and trial proceedings.

We have successfully defended defense, health care, and technology contractors in qui tam actions and criminal investigations involving a wide range of allegations, including failure to comply with quality assurance requirements, cost mischarging, defective pricing, obstruction of federal audits, product substitution, discount issues, kickbacks, and provider overpayments.
