Miller & Chevalier hosted in the next event in its trade policy series, a luncheon featuring Carlos de Abreu, the Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister, Economic and Trade Affairs, of the Embassy of Brazil to the United States, on Thursday, May 8.

DCM Carlos de Abreu will address Brazil's multi-faceted agenda with the U.S. in a global context, with a particular focus on the trade and economic matters.  DCM Carlos de Abreu is a senior Brazilian official with a long resume of distinguished service with the Ministry of External Relations, including in numerous prominent trade policymaking positions.  Brazil is playing a central role in the Doha Development Agenda negotiations in the WTO and is the largest and most influential country in South America and a critical player in U.S. relations in the Americas.
