Matteson Ellis will be speaking at the Woodrow Wilson Center's Brazil Institute on November 16, 2015, in Washington, DC. Ellis will present, as part of a panel, "International Implications of Cooperation in the Petrobras Corruption Scandal Investigations."

Panelists will discuss the international ramifications of the multibillion dollar corruption scandal involving oil giant Petrobras, as well as companies and business executives from Brazil and elsewhere, which have slowly emerged since the beginning of the Brazilian-led investigations in March 2014.

Panelists of this event are experienced with the national and international legal and regulatory frameworks guiding the investigations. Panelists will also address the ongoing and growing cooperation between judges, prosecutors and law enforcement charged with combating crimes of corruption in their respective jurisdictions.
