Breakfast Briefing with David Stewart

03.14.07
Location: Miller & Chevalier

Rep. Phil English (R-PA), a senior Republican member of the Ways & Means Trade Subcommittee, has introduced and co-sponsored several far-reaching trade law reform proposals in the 110th Congress. These proposals deal with import relief and other central aspects of U.S. trade policy, including U.S. trade relations with China. Rep. English's long-time aide and current Legislative Director, David Stewart, held a discussion on these trade law proposals, the problems they seek to address, and the prospects for enactment.
