Miller & Chevalier held the sixth teleconference to focus on the provisions included in the final health reform package that are likely to create significant implementation issues for employers.
In addition, Miller & Chevalier prepared a chart outlining the key provisions of the health reform legislation affecting large employers that sponsor group health plans. The chart includes the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590) that President Obama signed into law on March 23, 2010, and the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872), which the House passed on March 21 and the Senate passed on March 25.
