2012 Latin America Corruption Survey Media Coverage

Miller & Chevalier Chartered and Matteson Ellis Law PLLC recently announced the results of their 2012 Latin America Corruption Survey gauging the understanding and effectiveness of anti-corruption laws that regulate the behavior of businesses in the region. While some of the survey results showed remarkable consistency with a similar study Miller & Chevalier conducted in 2008, there were notable differences suggesting a growing focus on the part of businesses on anti-corruption laws in the region, including more attention to compliance and more widespread familiarity with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

The survey has received significant press attention to date. Articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including Financial Times, Inside Counsel, National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel, Corporate Compliance Insights, Ethisphere, Compliance Week, FDi Magazine, Latin Lawyer, Americas Quarterly, InfoBAE, Voz de America, Dow Jones Newswire, Citybizlist Washington, D.C., FCPA Compliance & Ethics Blog, KYC360, Consultor Juridico, Legal Ethics Compliance, The FCPA Report, Corruption Bribery, World Trade, The FCPA Blog, Business Insurance, This Week in FCPA, Latin America Law & Business Report, ComunicaRSE, Trade and Forfaiting Review, Central America Link, Scoop It, Thomson Reuters Accelus, Terra, Reuters, and World Federation Against Drugs.
