03.02.10Barry Pollack discussed the oral argument in the Supreme Court appeal of former Enron CEO Jeff Skilling. Several justices appeared concerned that the honest services law is too vague, and observers suggested government might be willing to sacrifice some of Skilling's charges to save the statute for use in other cases. "I thought the government almost conceded that honest services might not cover this case while trying to save it in many other cases," said Pollack, who represented some Enron defendants.
