11.12.09Barry Pollack comments after a New York judge threw out the 1992 conviction of Fernando Bermudez, declaring his innocence and saying that a key witness lied and others influenced one other into identifying Bermudez as the shooter. "You combine the cooperating witness who lied with the eyewitnesses who conferred with one another, and you have an innocent man in jail for 18 years," said Pollack, who led the pro bono defense team.
