Marc Alain Bohn and Austen Walsh Discuss 1st Quarter FCPA Developments in Law360

"2015 Begins With A Drop In FCPA Enforcement Activity"

In this article, Marc Alain Bohn and Austen Walsh discuss FCPA enforcement trends in the first quarter of 2015. "The pace of enforcement under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act has slowed considerably in 2015, with just three resolved enforcement actions during the year’s first quarter -- all brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission -- which represents the lowest level of enforcement to begin a year since 2006," the authors said. Bohn and Walsh highlight various cases and enforcement actions across the past four months and note recent developments with a view toward the rest of the year.
