"With Manning Trial Over, Assange Sees Himself as the Target"

07.26.13Barry Pollack commented on what the closing arguments in the Pfc. Bradley Manning trial may mean for his client, WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange. Manning is accused of aiding the enemy by providing classified documents to WikiLeaks. "It seems in the closing arguments that the government has gone out of its way to highlight the role of Julian Assange and WikiLeaks in publishing truthful information," Pollack said, adding, "The government's treatment of Mr. Manning reinforces for us sadly that Assange is in severe legal jeopardy in the United States."
