As mentioned above, Miller & Chevalier is a block away from the White House. What is the interview process?
If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the Human Resources Department. The interview process includes two parts: completing an application and the interview meetings.

  • The Application: Be prepared to fill out an employment application. To complete the application you will need to supply information, including your educational background and previous work experience. A background check will only be done if you are selected to move forward in the process.
  • The Interview: The format of the interview process will vary depending upon what position you are applying for. You can expect to meet with a member of the Human Resources Department as well as the manager of the department with the open position.

Is there a standard work schedule?
Miller & Chevalier’s regular business hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our reception desk opens at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. Flexibility to work overtime is required of all employees.

What is the dress code at Miller & Chevalier?
The dress code at Miller & Chevalier is business casual. We have a slightly different dress code in the summer than during the rest of the year. The last Friday of each month is "Denim for Charity Day." On these days denim may be worn with a $5 minimum donation.
